UNIQUE ASPECTS

Outstanding collaboration among all consultants to find a viable option to make the upgrade feasible and started a collaborative process to get 5 consents submitted within 4 weeks and project tenders signed off within 9 weeks so construction could start on the first day of the student holidays. “A team of consultants was pulled together in two days. If anyone in the team had spare capacity they would share it” said Sam Cadden, Project Manager. “Such a collaborative approach was the only way we were going to get consent on time. It was fantastic to see”. NOTE: We would like to thank the following consultants and client for their selfless hard work and determination in making this project possible: Baker Garden Architects, John McKenzie Architects, McLeod Associates (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing), Hanlons and Partners (Structural and Fire Engineering) Knox & Salmond College Commission.
