Construction Manager
Construction Managers are charged with ensuring that all of our client's needs are met on site and typically have responsibility for more than one site.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To preserve and enhance the reputation of Arrow International by maintaining an effective and professional relationship with the client
- Work in conjunction with the Project Manager to ensure that the project risks are identified and managed
- Work with the Project Manager during the design phase of the project with the objective of ensuring that effective design is adopted and the project is feasible
- Work with the Project Manager in the preparation of the documentation required for gaining statutory approvals and consents
- Ensure that the project delivery complies with the company's standard procedures and systems, and the agreed quality standards with respect to workmanship and durability are met
- Work with the Project Manager to ensure that project expenditure is accurately controlled and reported versus the agreed client approved budget at regular monthly intervals
- Manage the tendering process in conjuction with the Project Manager
- Ensure Project Manager is kept well informed and can therefore provide accurate information to the client with respect to all issues and developments on site
- Ensure the project is successfully completed by co-ordinating all construction activities
- Provide leadership to the construction team throughout the project and identify and manage project completion risks
- Ensure that Arrow's Health & Safety Policy is adhered to with respect to health and safety legislation, ACC and industry best practice
