ARROW AUCKLAND MOVES TO A NEW GREEN OFFICE

In order to house their expanding team, Arrow’s Auckland staff recently moved into new office space at Number One, Broadway, Newmarket, Auckland. Arrow have delivered the upgrade to the base building and the interior fit out to our own premises with the aim towards attaining a “Four Star” Green Rating under the NZGBC’s Green Star Accreditation initiative. This should be achieved in the near future and reflects the people at Arrow’s belief that they should practice what they preach when it comes to being environmentally responsible. 

Work began in March 2009 when the building was gutted internally to allow for construction to commence.  The Green Rating criteria demanded high energy and resource efficient building service elements, through to environmentally credited internal fittings, fixtures and finishes . This is the first Green Rated interior fit-out completed by Arrow Auckland.  We are looking forward to using this experience on our next “green star” project.  

With help from Interior Design experts, Outline Design, the new office incorporates a clean, open-plan environment that is suited to Arrow’s open culture. Stand out features include creative break-out areas; transparent walls on meeting rooms to maintain a feeling of space and openness and functional office furniture that is eco-friendly, made with low emission materials that can be recycled at the end of it’s life cycle.
